How can I help?
Dissecting, exploring and rediscovering yourself and/or relationship is deeply rewarding. Colibri Wellness, LCSW, PLLC offers a welcoming space where you can unpack your feelings and embark on a healing path and impart with you, your partner(s), and/or family a safe, inclusive, and engaging therapeutic experience. We will assist you in reflection, decision-making, redirection and restructure towards change, healing strategies, movement, growth and decolonization of the mind. We also conduct psychiatric immigration evaluations (Asylum, VAWA) in New York State, Connecticut, Florida, Delaware, Vermont, & Idaho.
Cognizant of multiple realities that shift and differ pertaining to one's life experiences, socioeconomic status, citizenship, gender, ethnicity, and race, I apply culturally informed practices to assist in navigating through multiple forms of anxiety, depression, grief/loss relationship/couples issues, family strain, substance dependency/abuse and traumas.
Colibri Wellness is dedicated to providing mental justice and wellness to BIPOC individuals, families and communities. We are a culturally-centered, trauma informed, anti-oppressive practice that utilizes clinical/decolonial approaches so that we as a community can reclaim and experience transformative healing.
